Ivan Zholtovsky is considered a key figure in Soviet architecture. In 1932 he gained international recognition through the Palace of Soviets competition. This book represents the first time that the life and work of Zholtovsky is integrated into the context of the despotic rule of Joseph Stalin by adopting a critical approach.
