Adolf Wölfli 1864-1930

In 1895 the Swiss-born Adolf W246;lfli (1864-1939) entered the Waldau psychiatric institution near Bern, and remained there until his death. Over the years he produced a huge oeuvre: a unique interaction of prose, poetry, image and music. The highly moving subjectmatter is rendered meticulously and with incredible precision. Today the quality of W246;lfli's work is universally acknowledged. More than fifty of W246;lfli's impressive works are reproduced in this publication.
