This publication on the Necropolis of Gonurdepe is the official technical-scientific account of ten years of research, during which a solid relationship of collaboration and continuity between the Ligabue Study and Research Centre and the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan was built up, especially with the experts in National Department for Protection, Research and Restoration of Historical and Cultural monuments. For some time these experts have been our interlocutors and we are currently working with them on the excavation of a new Bronze Age Margian citadel: Adji Kuidepe.
