Built in 1670, the palace was purchased in 1753 by the Menz family, prestigious members of the merchant patriciate of Bolzano/Bozen.
Considerably renovated, it still preserves the ball room with rococo style frescoes (1776) by K. Henrici inspired by Tiepolo.
