Giovanni Gastel, nephew of Luchino Visconti, very early discovered a passion for photography, and embarked at an early age on an international career which was lead him to divide his time between Paris and Milan.
A promoter of experimentation, he is an innovator of fashion photography, both technically and linguistically.
Giovanni Gastel's photographs, showing a constant striving towards creative research reflecting the developments of costumes over the last twenty years, have been the subject of beautiful books and famous exhibitions.
This book is dedicated to the complete work of Polaroid photographs.
