Enrico Del Debbio is one of the most interesting interpreters of Italian architecture during the XIX Century. From the little to the big scale, from art to town, from object to landscape, from nature to space measuring, from building to monuments, from education to profession, till the responsibility in institutions. The large themes' dimension of his work and the complexity of times in which he has to live and create, give new arguments of thoughts on a period, a society and its architectonical expressions, which aim is to fill evident historical gaps and to offer new direction of research. The book is composed by four chapters that cover all the activity of Enrico Del Debbio, inserting it in the historical and political context in which he works. The complete catalogue of his Production closes the volume.
