The University of Cambridge History Faculty Building, built in 1967 and designed by James Stirling is one of the most famous and interesting modern architecture buildings as well as one of the masterpieces of the Pritziker Price winner and RIBA gold medallist, late English architect. The building, totally surfaced by red bricks and glass, envisions the image of a Victorian greenhouse. Notably it also implements a very innovative distribution by making the library the core of the whole building.
