Elsa, the protagonist of the story, is a child who experiences an abused childhood. Deprived of maternal affection, exposed to a condition of family instability, of violence assisted, which makes it difficult for her to realize her path of growth. Her childhood and early adolescence are traversed by a whirlwind of emotions that, most most of the time, she cannot understand. Elsa, because of the way she being, initially justifies the strange behavior of her parents, then realizes it. She puts in place a mechanism of defense to protect herself and to protect, in a sense, her own parents. Her life force allows her to go on, despite her wounds. The desire to love and the desire to be loved represent the elements that will allow her to limit the inescapable trauma.
