This publication narrates the story of Gigi Rigamonti. Born in 1949 in Desio, Brianza, he is an anarchist, restless, thirsting for knowledge, experimental, disobbendient, and in love with the writings of Jack Kerouac, surrealist automatic painting, Bob Dylan, and Bentleys. Not interested in success but quite enamored with freedom, he opened a unique art gallery that combines art, politics, spirituality, neoliberalism, travel, philosophy, writers, musicians, priests, outlaws, Tibetan monks, poetesses, guards, sailors. He creates mannequins that are so particular Bob Wilon has used them in his exhibition at the Guggenheim, New York, and during the war in Bosnia he made transparent ones with iron, metal scraps, and pistols inside. He has worked with Enrico Baj and Salvatore Fiume; he traveled to Paris to meet Alejandro Jodorowsky because he's mad about him and wants to make a film with him. Ambidextrous, to sign a contract or write a letter he uses his right hand, while he paints with his left. He started out as a photographer, then he grew passionate about painting and fell in love with the color gray. But he is still a boy, with a dream: an enormous polystyrene homeless in the middle of Fifth Avenue, blocking it.
