As a small boy Luca Crocicchi (Cantagallo, Florence,
1958) used “Giotto” crayons for drawing. At the age of
sixteen, he began to paint in oils and has never looked
back.
Crocicchi is an artist of infinite resources, held in great
consideration by major Italian critics.
This volume contains a broad and complete overview
of the artist's most recent work and enigmatic capacity
for invention. From his exploration flows an art that is
brimming with sometimes painful, poetic and evoca-tive
nostalgia.
