Fresh Water is a collection of objects and products that express the gestures, the tensions and the fashions which are connected with water as a theme in today's world. The book is part of the series of projects from the Triennale Permanent Collection of Italian Design, edited by Silvana Annicchiarico and tackles the theme of fresh water along three themes: Rare water, underlining the propensity to consider water as a luxury good, a declining vital resource. The form of water, gathers, in the dimensions of a project developed around imprisoned liquid, glasses, bottles, and materials with highly retentive qualities; Water as commerce, documents the tendency to transform water into business as a complement to leisure, from every style of glass to acquastores in which scores of mineral waters can be tasted.
