The volume, which has among its main aims the protection and spreading of the master's works, presents a suggestive itinerary through Lucio Fontana's works. Cured by Paolo Campiglio according to a perspective that shows the main stages of the artist's creative activity during the second half of the twentieth century, the volume concentrates on the spatial experience of the 50's and 60's-the most famous but also the most problematic in an attempt to offer an itinerary through the fundamental moments and the emblematic texts of the second half of the twentieth century. A kind of narrative plot combines some masterpieces through drawings, sculpture and graphics, following associations and analogies.
