The exhibition held at the Kunstforum of Vienna aims to offer the visitors an exhaustive general view on the crucial years of Futurism: from the first Manifesto of Marinetti, which appeared on the pages of Parisian Le Figaro, in 1909, to the years 1916-18, when many protagonists of this movement decided to define their orientation. Between 1909 and 1918 the Futurist artists carried on many activities in many fields, from painting to sculpture, from poetry to theatre, from photography to cinema. Among the one-hundred works on display there are paintings and drawings by Carrà, Balla, Depero, Russolo and Severini, some important sculptures by Boccioni and setting sketches by Depero.
