The journal proposes - at a time when critical culture is hardly lacking in regressive tendencies - a theoretical and applicable framework of the hermeneutic method from a literary point of view, transcending preconsisting barriers and temporal boundaries. Instead it recreates a complex composite notion of method, removed from conceptual formalizing and motivated by a time of true comprehension; from a receptiveness that knows how to perceive the Otherness of texts, worlds or living beings. It is about following the path of renovation rather than innovation; an experimental practice that shows the philosophical implications of criticism. For this, literary hermeneutics draws strength from the intellectual hinterland of various 20th century critics (Gadamer, Ricoeur), consisting of a true philosophy (or true science or true art) of interpretation.
