Italianistica, journal of italian studies, was founded by Renzo Negri and Felice Del Beccaro in 1972: they intended to offer an adeguate seat for italianist' works (articles, review-articles, notes, etc.). Besides, this journal published a large number of bibliographical information. Afterwards Italianistica changed its Editorial Board but kept to its initial purposes, which meet a large agreement still nowadays.
