The micenean world, from which collapse the classical Greek civilization emerged, it is known through the archaeological excavations of Mycenae, Tirinto, Pilo and Thebes in Beozia and thanks to the deciphering of writing linear syllabic B. "Pasiphae" has the aim of illustrating this rigidly hierarchical and centralised world, through the publication of original texts, of archaeological researches' results, of historical, philological, linguistic and economic studies. In the journal researches relating to Aegean and Anatolian civilizations, closely connected to the Greek Bronze Age, are also published.
