Studi e problemi di critica testuale. Vol. 78. 1. 2009

A journal of Italian philology and literature founded by Raffaele Spongano in 1970, "Studi e problemi di critica testuale" was edited by its founder until 1995 and, subsequently, by Emilio Pasquini who, in 2001, has been joined by Alfredo Cottignoli, Clemente Mazzotta, Vittorio Roda, and by an editorial staff of young scholars of the Department of Italian, University of Bologna. Published twice a year, the journal is guided by a modern and wide conception of philology, not restricted to textual criticism, but inclusive of the critical interpretation of literary texts, of their historical context and intertextual connections. Each issue of "Studi e problemi di critica testuale" includes an ample section devoted to book reviews, and useful abstracts from Italian and foreign periodicals.
