The opus documents Burri's oeuvre with color plates of his works, accompanied by original historical, critical and aesthetic essays in each volume. The six tomes dedicated to different areas of Burri's artistic output will include one volume devoted entirely to references and appendixes, including a biography and a revised bibliography, and complete, in-depth index with information of nearly 3.000 works in the catalogue. The dividing of the work into six volumes according to topic offers easy reading and a wealth of new and valuable iconographic information; new attention is paid in particular to Burri's experience with scenery with the inclusion of technical documents and unpublished photographs in the catalogue.
The result of the incessant study and cataloguing work that the Foundation has been doing for more than thirty years, the Catalogue Raisonné is published as the definitive study and research tool that embraces for the first time the entire artistic production of Alberto Burri, covering the historical period from 1945 to 1994, the year of his death. Its aim is to facilitate the consultation, knowledge and enjoyment of the vaste repertoire of this great master of contemporary art.

Painting (from 1945 to 1994) - voll. I - II - III Three volumes of the Master's "painting" from 1945 to 1994. Each volume includes: 2 critical essays, more than 500 color plates, a list of the plates, a critical anthology from the 1950s to 1994 and a chronological inventory of the works.

Gouaches and Drawings, Sculptures and Scenery- vol. IV A volume focused on the iconographic cataloguing and the study of Burri's works in gouache, drawings, sculptures and scenery, with a special section on the Grande Cretto in Gibellina. The volume includes: critical essays, more than 300 color plates, a list of the plates and the chronological inventory of the works.

Graphic Work - vol. V A volume with the complete cataloguing of Burri's prints and graphic work. The volume includes: a specific critical essay, more than 200 color plates, a list of the plates, the chronological inventory of the works, and the complete biographical and bibliographical references of his prints and graphic works.

Chronological inventory - vol. VI The final volume containing the complete index of the works in the catalogue. The book is composed of nearly 3.000 comprehensive entries with miniatures in color, biographical and bibliographical references, notices regarding use of the volume, and additional references by topic.
